Norwood English was founded in Japan in 1993 by eight, later to become nine, teachers concerned about the lack of training given to many teachers. All Norwood English tutors are qualified and have at least fifteen years teaching experience.

We began offering distance learning courses in 1995 and were the first to offer courses via the internet. Since 2001 we have been registered in Ireland although we continue to operate throughout the world with tutors based in seven countries.

Our distance leanring TEFL courses are open to all. We also offer teaching jobs in several countries through our partners and affiliates.
