Our client has been at the forefront of promoting the finest Irish craft and design for over 50 years and is home to Ireland's largest collection of Irish designers. Our client has 16 stores nationwide, with 5 cafes and a thriving online shop business.
About the Position

The Head of Ecommerce will be responsible for the management, development and growth of the ecommerce business in accordance with an outlined 5year plan. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to drive and manage the companies ecommerce strategy. HQ is based in ,sho wever there will be a remote working option.

Key Responsibilities
Devise & implement a winning ecommerce and supporting digital strategy which entails:
Delivery of key Digital / Web projects
Improve online performance and return on investment
Set up & analyse various data to deliver data driven strategies to deliver top performance and achieve KPIs
Manage the expectation of key stakeholders during the project life cycle and ensure their satisfaction of the project outcomes
Augmented reality/Virtual reality roll out
Manage the lead out of UX/UI plan in collaboration with Marketing/buying and IT.
Work with the Marketing team to execute customer acquisition and retention marketing campaigns through PPC, SEO, social media, CRM, online advertising, and affiliate programs to drive growth and profitability
Help to establish and use -Confidential web practices- in the areas of agile project and high-quality web delivery
Technical knowledge and understanding of eCommerce Platforms and common eCommerce plugins.
Lead and develop a strong and motivated ecommerce team both in house, and working brilliantly with key partners internally & externally to deliver on the commercial targets
Keep up to date with ecommerce Confidential and make recommendations on new digital marketing and ecommerce opportunities
Lead all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and a/b testing and reporting
Have a collaborative style working in conjunction with other business units I.E., IT/Marketing/Buying/Retail and stakeholders to drive profit, traffic and identify new web ideas, define requirements, create projects proposals and to assist in securing the appropriate budgets and
resources required to deliver them successfully
Collaborate with internal depts. and online merchandisers to ensure that our digital offering follows Confidential e-commerce practices and ensures alignment with bricks and mortar stores
Oversee standards across the site and conduct scheduled audits
Excellent understanding of web design and web analysis
Highlight potential risks and act proactively to resolve issues
Be an active member of the project team, supporting colleagues and peers to help achieve overall digital goals, and those of the team.
Seek out and secure new innovative partnerships, that helps grow our brand and business online
Experience/Requirements
5 years- experience in similar role
Experience with SEO/PPC and other digital marketing tools
Demonstrated ability to manage projects under challenging and pressurized scenarios
Hands-on and creative web project owner / project manager who can effectively suggest, drive and challenge new ideas/ initiatives
Knowledge of website speed optimisation, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimisation, traffic analysis and reporting tools
Understanding and experience in, UX and Google Analytics
Strong people interaction and relationship building skills across multiple functions within the organization
Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal and presentation skills
A forward-thinking attitude, working on present-day strategy as well as preparing for the rapidly evolving future of eCommerce.
Understanding the commercial drivers of a large omni-channel trading organization.
Strong knowledge of retail business an advantage.
Staff management/supervision experience essential
Ability to operate and influence at a senior level
Highly organized and motivated project manager with an aptitude for understanding and solving problems
Experience with Magento is an advantage
Remuneration Package
Basic Salary -90,000 - -,000 DOE
