Our client is a leading developer and manufacturer of high-quality purified proteins and reagent solutions selling into biomedical researchers, as well as clinical research laboratories. They also develop and manufacture diagnostic products including FDA-regulated controls, calibrators, blood gas and clinical chemistry controls, and other reagents for OEM and clinical customers. They are seeking a Commercial Sales Support CSSperson who shall report into the Irish Country Manager. The role will be based in North, in a newly acquired office & distribution centre & will suit a biology graduate with 1 years- biology experience in industry or a master-s qualified biologist who has a strong understanding of clinical, molecular biology, immunology or biochemistry.
This position will hold responsibility for nurturing and supporting existing business throughout Ireland, the UK and Scandinavia. In this position you will be expected to maintain an extremely high level of customer and market knowledge.
Develop and Nurture Existing Business:

Ensure an allocated existing Industrial customer base throughout the UK and Scandinavia is supported by understanding their current research andsho w our client-s portfolio sits within this.
Manage the On-Boarding of New Industrial Accounts to ensure a high level of customer experience as well as gaining an understanding of their current needs via a consultative conversation.
Maintain and drive new Service Revenue for our clients Instrument install base throughout Northern Europe, including negotiation of long-term contracts
Use a selection of channels to support and develop new/existing business opportunities, including live in bound via the website, outbound cold calls, in bound/out bound emails and social media.
Keep all channels of communication open with internal and external sales teams in Northern Europe, lead generation and marketing to ensure a cohesive team for maximum customer
Work closely with Marketing, Technical and Account Managers to execute bespoke projects to drive revenue.
Identifying business growth opportunities in collaboration with Account Management and specialist team
Act in a commercially savvy way to unlock new business opportunities through existing customers as well as live interactive web chats.
Maintain awareness and knowledge of marketplace and competitors. Report findings and potential pipeline both monthly and quarterly to the Country Manager.
Represent the company at domestic and international conferences where applicable
BSc in a biological based subject
1- internal sales experience or customer service in a Molecular Biology/Biochemistry related position
An understanding of the Life Science Market
Fluent in English.
Demonstrable experience of working within a customer care/sales environment with a strong commercial focus.
Experience of using own initiative and working in a target driven environment.
Ability to track return on investment ROI and key performance indicators KPI-s
Possess excellent IT skills; including experience of working with databases, Office Outlook, using Excel and Word are essential.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Excellent -can do- attitude
Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and multi-task efficiently
Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to deadlines
Feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build strong relationships cross functionally
