Position Outline

The position involves daily profiling and maintenance of appropriate stock levels in accordance with the requirements of the business.s is achieved by forecasting, liaising with suppliers as well as the relevant colleagues to gauge stock requirements. role will involve interaction with suppliers in relation to sourcing, pricing, and availability of products.will also involve interaction with transport companies in relation to the movement of inbound goods.s role is fast paced and requires high levels of organisation, time management and attention to detail.>

The Role:

Ensuring excellent cross functional communication with all colleagues.gt;Build and maintain first class relationships with internal teams, customers, subsidiaries, service providers and relevant State Agencies.gt;Pro-active relationship with colleagues and suppliers in relation to product pricing, availability and forecasting.gt;Schedule direct load deliveries to customers in line with company SOP's.gt;Ensure compliance with H&S policy and procedures.gt;Reduce holding of slow-moving stock related to your portfolio
Support and coordinate the implementation of projects that impact the European Supply Chain for new product introductions and site transfers
Support the supply chain function and if it necessary suggest mitigation plans and coordinate with the Head of Supply Chain, Logistics & Distribution
Managing stakeholders including suppliers, 3PL, freight forward agents/couriers etc
Provide cost effective and efficient solutions to hoc transport request while encouraging Confidential within the business
Manage day to day operational aspects of reverse logistics, ensuring 3PL's and couriers are maintaining scan compliance and communicating with our customer service teams to ensure customers are refunded in a timely manner.gt;

The Candidate:

Experience of Logistics / Distribution / Supply Chain desirable but not essential.gt;Supply Chain qualification is an advantage.gt;Self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of the purchasing team.gt;Strong organisational and communication skills.gt;Strong IT skills with emphasis on Confidential Office Confidential Excel.gt;Strong time management, organisation, and planning ability.gt;A proven track record of delivering results against KPI's.gt;Strong customer focus and a commitment to providing a quality service.gt;Strong ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgment in resolving issues affecting customer
