A perfect opportunity for a Junior Quality professional to join an expanding organisation. This role will give you great exposure to senior managers in the business and a strong sense of ownership.

I currently am delighted to work with a fantastic company in who are experience an unprecedent growth spurt and due to this are on the look out for a Quality Inspector to join their team on a full time basis.

This individual will work as part of a team to oversee and conduct the daily activities in the Receiving Inspection area assuring that all work meets quality criteria defined, and that all approved materials are made available on time where applicable for production. This role will have great exposure to senior figures in the organisation and will report into the Quality Manager

More about the role;

Perform daily receiving of all materials being delivered to site
Maintain inspection priority list and coordinate activity.
Maintain records and sign off on tasks
Properly use and maintain production equipment and report defects to supervisor / Manager
Coordinates the daily activities within Receiving Inspection to assure that the Production Control Schedule is met.
Follow work schedules in an efficient manner ensuring production information is recorded and communicated
Ensure housekeeping tasks are adhered to and records maintained
Adhere to all safety and quality protocols at all times
Work closely with planners and buyers to resolve any discrepancies on material received.
Route and coordinate required laboratory or specification tests for materials requiring laboratory or physical testing / and route material to designated testing or pre-stage testing area.
Perform thorough inspection of material to verify there are no aesthetic blemishes or damage.
Perform necessary work to
correct inaccurate and/or missing regulatory documents.
Assure all Certification Documents required are in place and in order.
Maintain the Supplier Certification database as required by ILC quality system procedures.
Resolve all missing or discrepant Supplier Certification issues by working directly with the supplier.

Qualifications & Experience:

Prior experience working in an highly regulated environment - ideally within Quality
Must have working knowledge of MS Suite of software Word, Excel, Outlook and experience entering, retrieving information from a database
Demonstrated problem solving abilities
Must be fit to work in a cleanroom environment
Must be knowledgeable of basic math and English measurement metric and Imperial
Must have a current up to date manual handling Certificate
Must be able to work overtime as required
Demonstrated problem solving abilities and time management skills
Must be able to effectively communicate and understand work instructions, blueprints, or other documents written in English
Must be able to work well a part of a team and communicate effectively with team members
