My client, a leading global organisation in requires a Senior HR Business Partner to join the European HR team in a contract capacity.

Reporting directly to the European HR Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the HR agenda in Ireland.

The overall client base is primarily in , Ireland, but other client groups will be supported across a number of European countries.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Management - achieve productivity gains through ongoing performance management, including coaching, counselling, training, and, where appropriate, disciplinary action and termination; ensure the timely and effective establishment and evaluation of individual performance objectives.
Organizational Development - identify and address organizational barriers to delivering strategic business initiatives; revise organizational structure and resource allocations, as necessary, to support the achievement of strategic business goals.
Talent Management - identify, develop, and retain high potential and successor candidates to meet future talent requirements.
Talent Acquisition - develop a recruiting strategy for the supported business units and create strong pipeline and employer branding
Culture Development/Employee Relations - work closely with client groups to maximize associate engagement and retention; develop and maintain a positive employee relations atmosphere and minimize legal claims.
Employee Communications - develop and implement
appropriate two-way channels of communications both formal and informal to keep managers and employees informed on important business matters.

Key Requirements:

Education - degree in Business Management or Human Resources Management, MBA optional.
Work experience - Minimum of five years of progressive human resources experience, knowledge of Irish labour law
English mother tongue, any other European languages are a plus
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities - Strong business acumen/orientation; demonstrated ability to quickly establish professional credibility and effective working relationships; excellent coaching, counselling, and consultative skills; excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong organizational and time management skills; ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
