Lead Buyer Planner
My rapidly growing Cork based Pharmaceutical Client has an opportunity for a lead buyer planner to join their expanding team.s position is responsible for executing the Material Requirements Planning MRP process within the buying planning function.>
Responsibilities:
Manage the operation of the MRP process
creation of non BOM purchase orders with accurate quantities & delivery timelines
Ensure inventory levels are maintained at appropriate safety stock levels to meet production requirements
Own the day-to-day relationship with vendors:
lead time, quotes, purchase order updates & queries, delivery timelines, documentation mismatch, returns, payment issues GRIR etc.gt;
Engage in key scheduling and planning huddles & meetings to provide updates on delivery schedules & requirements to meet production
Requirements
MRP / SAP experience in a complex manufacturing environment
Third level qualification or equivalent education with 3- years supply chain experience
